  • A plea

    Dear L.A. Sheriff’s Dept.,

Please put Paris Hilton back in jail where she belongs, to maintain at least some semblance that celebrities must follow the same laws as everyone else.

    Sincerely,
    A concerned citizen

update: The judge ordered Paris Hilton back to jail today, and she’s already back in!  That gives me hope, but right now she’s just staying in the medical ward while her lawyer appeals her sentence.  We’ll have to wait to see if justice truly prevails in the end.

update #2: I am amazed by some of the comments from people defending Paris’ release.  She obviously has no respect for the law and thinks she is above it.  She was almost proven right in this case.

This was not an unfairly harsh sentence.  Paris was a menace on the road and hopefully she realizes that now.  After getting her license suspended and put on probation for drunk driving, she just kept right on driving.  Even after being caught doing this once and not punished for it, she was caught yet again, this time going double the speed limit and without any headlights on at night.  It is lucky that nobody has been injured so far from her reckless driving.  The fact that she tried to appeal her sentence both before going to jail and again after, despite the fact that she was clearly guilty, again showed that she thought she could get away with it.

For me this is not about hating Paris.  I think that she leads an utterly vacuous existence, but I don’t hate her.  This is about fairness and equality for all people under the law.  For every person like Paris who gets away with things because of money or fame, there is a poor person somewhere getting a more severe punishment than they deserve because they don’t have the money to hire a team of lawyers.  Paris’ release from jail was yet another example highlighting the inequities in our justice system.

Now I hope you understand why Paris needed to serve out her sentence.  L.A. City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo put it well when he said that “This decision sends the message that no individual — no  matter how wealthy or powerful — is above the law. Today, justice was served.

  • i can’t believe they let her go.

well, actually i can. but that’s so ridiculous. yep, sign this concerned citizen’s name to that as well.

  • Amen! I can’t tell you how happy I am to see that at least 1 man out there doesn’t care that she’ “hot” (though I think she looks like a transvestite), that you believe she belongs in jail too.. Very good.

I must tell you, this was a brilliant post!

    =)

    Angela

  • because i am sure that she is going to kill someone for money, anyway. i am pretty sure that the judge has it in for her. which is a good thing.

  • Totally and completely agree.  Thanks for the post; it made my day. :)

  • Thank you! These rich folks need to realize they cant get away with everything.

  • I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read that she was out. They have no idea what they have just done.

    Great post…

  • Yes, yes! I say we go put her back there where she belongs…
    You with me?

  • I should’ve known that my day was going to totally blow when I read that this morning. It makes me ill that this country values money to such an extent.

  • I can’t stand Paris Hilton. I guess money really does buy you happiness.

  • haha you kind of rock my world for this

  • i’m so mad she got out…
celebrity or not, if you break the law, you should do time for it.
and she barely did. it’s not fair.

  • I was hoping this wouldn’t happen…Now how do we prove to these airhead celebrities that they’re not above the law?

  • ahah. She’s about as prone to mental breakdowns as a rock.

it’s pathetic that they let her go.

  • When I heard about this. I got pissed.

  • Amen brother.

Do the crime, do the time…Paris should be held to the same standard the rest of society is. If she’s too “ill” to be in jail, here’s a novel concept she can try in the future…

    OBEY….THE….LAW!!

  • i hate celebrities.

  • Does this have anything to do with her shoe size?

Maybe her hands are so big, they were afraid that if she fistfucked any of the other female inmates they would become sterile.

  • Dear lord what is the country coming to!!!  It made my day to hear they drug her off to jail, and now…

    *kicks something*

  • I soooo agree………..

  • amen.

someone start a fucking petition or something.

  • I can’t believe she got out. What a farce.

  • Celebrities have to follow the same rules regular people do too.
I really don’t understand law enforcement sometimes.

  • i know dude! lame, eh? what WERE they thinking…

    long live general tapioca.

  • i know dude! lame, eh? what WERE they thinking…

    long live general tapioca.

  • Where’s a petition I can add my name to?!

  • yes! she needs to be in jail…in the roughest jail there is~

  • I’m not sure which one’s stupider–Hilton just cause, or law enforcement for letting her go.

  • No one should be above law, and it is because of things like this that people doubt our government

  • HAHAH ! trueee say

  • totally agree that Paris should receive the same punishment as other people once they break the law.

  • pathetic. celebrities suck! they get everything. shouldnt they be treated like regular ppl like us?

  • im pretty sure non-celebrities got out like paris did… in rare situations…

its still not fair tho. she should serve her time like the rest of us would have if we were caught under a DUI.

  • YES!!!  She needs to be put back in jail!

  • omg is she out already?!

  • agreeeeeeeeeeees

  • it is people like you who keep drawing attention to everything she does that makes her a big enough deal to get out of a jail sentence early.

  • She’s due back in court tomorrow morning.

  • 1000% agree. she deserves it just like everybody else.

  • Holy fucking shit, an entry on the front page that doesn’t suck.

  • I hate Hollywood. I’m so over the mainstream.

  • I’m still shocked that people think of her as a celebrity. A wannabe porn star at best.

Money does not equal celebrity status, but what do I know…I’m broke

  • in the words of switchfoot, this aint my american dream

  • Yeah, I’m happy to see there is still some sanity left in this country. As long as people oppose this kind of crap I’m able to still sleep at night. Paris Hilton, back to jail!

  • It’s such a disappointment how these “laws” don’t have to be followed by celebrities, apparently. But if that’s the case, what’s the point of these laws if not everyone has to follow them? Stupid, I say. Stupid.

  • I can’t tell you how much I agree:)

  • i’ll second that!

i didnt realise they released her though
i knew they cut her sentence
    idiots

    x

  • I think they should make her do community service and actually live up to what she claimed she wanted to do with the Simple Life. She said she wanted to experience the lives of normal people, yet her and Nicole Richie have done nothing more than exploit people less rich and famous than themselves. They should give her a real responsibility that she can’t blow off.

  • poor paris has to be locked up in her mansion. don’t you feel the least bit bad for her?

  • she needs to stay in jail. i can not believe that she got out! amen to your letter!

  • how much are you willing to bet that she doesnt need to serve all 40 days of house arrest?

  • It’s about time somebody said something/

  • It’s disgusting.  She deserves to be in jail just like a normal person would be had they done what she did.  It makes me sick.

  • agreed.

  • I know I am Just one of many, But Right On! You do the CRIME! You do the TIME! Throw Her back in Jail! C.Stafford

  • Totally true.
    I’m with you.

  • amen

  • This was a very disappointing development for the American (in)justice system. Our country needs an overhaul. Very sad.

  • I second the motion…

  • I hope she goes back to jail. She really needs to learn a freaking lesson.

  • Are you fuckin’ kidding? They let her go?! No freakin’ way.

  • dude, right on, im a bit disturbed by it, i mean the judge specifically that she must serve all her days in prison, and that she is not allowed to serve it under house arrest
she probably bribed her way out, agh not to mention that shes a bad influence and probably deserves more time in jail, was sorta hoping theyd put her in jail with everyone else and not in solitaire

  • AGREED!

  • Dear America,

Please stop allowing publishers of scandal sheets and news stations broadcasting news to keep up the Paris stories. We are not a dumb herd of people like you make us out to be.

I need to know how Bush is handling our country and how many of my neighbors are being killed in this war.

I also need to know who I should vote for in this upcoming election. I’m supposed to vote right? How am I supposed to know without full coverage of candidates?

And what is up with the immigration policies?

What about the tremendous drop out rates in high schools? I’m going to be a teacher, I need to know what’s up.

I guess if a violent convict escapes from the local jail I’ll never know.

Please help me out guys! Without your help I’ll never know these things!

    Sincerely,
    -M

  • She should go to jail and stay there for the rest of her life. at least I wish that’s what they would do.

  • I think that all people who wanted Paris Hilton back in jail must go together with her for their jealousy.

  • I would pay big money to put her back in.

  • i can’t believe she’s actually getting the ‘star treatment’–she’s getting away with all the crap she’s been doing!  it’s NOT fair!  justice wasn’t served, it was sent back into the kitchen to be thrown into the trash.

  • so what we have learned today is that if you are famous and rich, you can get away with anything.  everyone is saying the world is changing for the better, well if we can’t even keep one celebrity in jail for his or her whole jail term, how can we show that the world really is changing for the better?  if any normal person had done this, they would have been in jail no matter what for the whole term if not longer.  its stupid that society today still cares when famous people cry about how they are so hard done by.  maybe people should realize that it would probably be good if celebrities like paris were put in jail just so that they could maybe become normal.

  • It ok I’ll throw myself in front of her car so then she go to jail for hit and run. :)

  • Totally!!!!

  • Pay now or pay later. It was really wrong that they released her because she was having a “breakdown”. Didn’t they hear that she was in plenty of movies and knows a bit how to act? I’m sure many people in jail had nervous breakdowns and they didn’t get released.

Nicole Richie might also go to jail for driving under the influence of drugs. Something that happened in last December, which she’s still waiting to go to court for. And suddenly she’s pregnant…

  • I couldn’t believe she got out; but then again, O.J. Simpson’s still out on the loose (He did it, and wrote a book about it. How much more proof is needed?) so this doesn’t shock me as much as it pisses me off.

She shouldn’t have been let go because she was going through the same shit anybody else could’ve upon his or her first incarceration (fear, anxiety, etc.), which to me is just a penalty for breaking the law.

Celebrities: Somehow, becoming one puts them above the law.

  • i think she needs the law to teach her a lesson.

letting her out makes it seem like she’s not even human? weird..

  • Where’s the petition to sign?

  • The ridiculous thing is that drunk driving penalties are already not harsh enough for the average person . . . apparently celebrities (who can afford chauffeurs) need to worry even less about drinking irresponsibly.

  • I think they should give her the Chair…. The world would be a happier place!

  • they should just swap her punishment for a medieval one.

    stone her to death.

  • I concur. Yet I get the feeling money exchanged hands…so I doubt she will be put back in jail anytime soon.

  • Amen.

I really do NOT like paris, and the fact that they are letting her get away really makes me mad. Just goes to show how corrupt our system is getting?

  • Hell yes – I was so looking forward to a prison video being leaked onto YouTube!

  • I called this one, I really hate our ” justice” system

  • talk about unfairness

  • Yeah I wish they will put her back in jail.. Being a celebrity doesn’t grant her the “privilege” to break rules.

  • i agree.  i guess it only proves that justice can be bought by the rich and famous.

  • It’s just not fair!!!

  • I am increasingly enraged and revolted by this blatant display of favoritism! Paris Hilton is NO BETTER than the rest of us! She should get equal treatment. It is not fair to the rest of us, this is a double standard and needs to be dealt with accordingly. What do we do about it is the question. I would be picketing outside of the LAPD and outside of Paris’ beautiful mansion.

  • That’s kinda mean. I mean she’s human too..sort of.

  • eh it’s all opinion…but i think 40 days house arrest is good too.

  • I completely agree. Is there a petition? Where do I sign?

  • tht is so lame. she should go back to where she belong.

  • Random commenter:

    Here here! I concur.

  • i dont comment on these much, but TRUE THAT

  • THANK YOU. Paris Hilton being sent home to stay locked in her mansion for 40 days shows that fame (no matter if you actually worked for it or not) is more powerful than the laws of our country. It’s a disgrace.

  • Hell yeah put her back in jail with the other inmates she shouldn’t have any privleges no regular person other than a child molestor would be seperated from the other inmates. I’m so glad guys aren’t just accepting this cause they think she’s hot or w/e. So all u guys i love you for this. Love Ya Lots,Sarah from Tennessee

  • im just as amazed as you are – we’ve lost any and all moral high ground when we preach to other nations about our superb justice system

  • Lock her up!

  • Well, it seems she may just end up back in jail.  Seems the Judge in the case specifically said she could not serve her time at home with a monitoring device…
So I take it you weren’t one of the ones petitioning the Govenor???
I called his office telling him to stay out of it.  I’m glad he did. (Not that my call had anything to do with it…)
    -M

  • Agree w/ your post ^^
Celebrities are humans and normal citizens too, they shouldn’t get any special treatment -__-

  • i heard she has 2 go to court again cuz they let her go “illegally” or sommat like that .

Totally agree w/ the post though

  • HELL YES! I cant believe that she got out due to ‘medical conditions’ *rolls eyes in disgust* whatever ..

  • i blame paris hilton….for everything.
and now i can add f’ing up the judicial system to my list.
brilliant post and feel free to sign my name to the
‘put paris back in jail’ petition.
because some of my friends are in jail for the same reason she should be.

    what a rip off.

  • None of this surprises me.

  • It’s PATHETIC!!!

  • pls send her back. she might end up making another album.

  • Maybe she gave the judge a lap dance. I absolutely detest Paris. She’s a DUMB blonde. She, along with Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.

  • AGREED AGREED AGREED. it drives me insane that they let her go because she ‘was on the brink of a nervous breakdown’. i heard someone speaking on the radio in her defense “she was subjected to situations she wasn’t used to – unflattering lighting, loud noises, you can’t expect her to take abuse like that.” RIDICULOUS.

  • ummm am i the only one who doesnt want paris in jail?

  • ahh the corruption of america. when caught doing something wrong everyone should face a punishment no matter who they are.

  • Do you guys think about the negative publicity of being a celebrity? Being in jail and having everyone out to give the “rich girl” an experience. I bet you she actually probably did have it worse in there than a normal person because she’s a celebrity and everyone wanted to give her a taste of “normal life”.

Although I will grant that being confined to her house isn’t that big of a punishment…

  • its not like where she was could really be considered prison, its called club fed for a reason.  its one of the most minimal security (implied easiest to live in) prisons in the world.

  • People are celebrities because of what everyone here is doing right now: talking about them. hehe. Just thought I should point that out to all who hate celebrities and talk about hating them.

    cheers

  • Yup… justice is justice.

  • This world needs justice. Putting her back in would do some.

  • well… just a thought. isn’t just a little unfair to force celebrities to follow the same rules as non-celebs? i mean, as much as we don’t want to admit it, they ARE different. you don’t see average joe’s getting mobbed, stalked, photographed, etc. etc.

  • well… just a thought. isn’t just a little unfair to force celebrities to follow the same rules as non-celebs? i mean, as much as we don’t want to admit it, they ARE different. you don’t see average joe’s getting mobbed, stalked, photographed, etc. etc.

  • just when i started to feel safe lol, they let her out :[

    props to you :]

  • hear hear!! i agree!

  • agreed. Thank you.

  • I completely agree with this post. As far as I (a seventeen-year-old girl, by the way) am concerned, celebrities are disgusting and deserve to be put in their place. The garbage they get away with is bad enough; there is no need for the police to set an equally bad example and promote their bad behavior.

  • It is time that the judicial system shows some back bone to show that the people of America run their country……not the dollar!

  • seriously… what’s happening to our law system. we have a separate system for the rich and famous?

    thanks for the post!

  • Ugh…Hopefully the ruling on Friday will send her back behind bars!!

  • what’s the point of laws if you’re rich enough and famous enough to buy your way out? stupid rich girl… i don’t care HOW hard prison is or HOW mentally taxing it is. there are millions of others in jail for doing even less than she did and you don’t see THEM getting released, even if they are having the worst times of their lives. fucking a.

  • I think it’s funny that everyone thinks regualar people get a jail sentence for what Paris did.  The real problem is that most of the time “real people” do not have to face any consequences for their actions either.

  • Why do they make laws anyway, if the rich and the famous can get away with whatever they feel like doing. What gives THEM that kind of right? I hate it when celebrities get away with stuff like, DUI, possessing drugs and even murder…

  • bwuahahaha.

people are stupid and blindsided by beauty.

  • nice one…AMEN to that. =)

  • nice one…AMEN to that. =)

  • I just dont understand me. She could like party all day without feeling sick and a mere 3 days in jail she is already out. So bullshit.

  • no VIPs…no celebrities…no elite peeps…
seconded…..she has to be sent back to jail and lets see if she can close her legs for a day… lol…

  • Yeah like you’ve never broken the law… The only difference between her and the rest of us is that she got caught. I guess she was putting other peoples lives at risk though so that makes things a little different. It really makes the American legal system look bad when people like her, OJ and Micheal Jackson seem to get off the hook despite overwheliming evidence against them. I’m sure the untried suspects in Guantanamo bay are getting a worse deal even though they haven’t even been convicted.

  • FDDF

  • Thank you!  I agree wholeheartedly!  Hmm…  Justice the American way.  Nice to see the system works.  Blah!

  • Think about everything you guys have posted. Since you are “civilized” enough NOT to be in jail, imagine what it would be like to have to hear/experience the same kind of.. I don’t know what to call it.. except from people who are actually in jail.

Yes, I can understand the part about celebrities needing to learn that they are not above the law. But for a vast majority to react in such a harsh manner? Tsk tsk.

Yes, we are angry that she got special treatment. The chances of the publicized reasons being true are very small. Do something productive if you want something done. Write to the people in charge. Write to the Government and let them know that this equality that is suppose to exist in our amendments is not being enforced. Don’t turn into a mob. That stuff belongs in the past.

Just what exactly is our society turning into?

Hardly anyone is looking at the other side of things, but who can blame them? There is no way a person can have two point of views, because you are only given one at birth. Yes yes she gets the star treatment.. but think about it.. SHE GETS THE STAR TREATMENT. Some love it, some hate it. Would you like people following you all day? Taking pictures of your every move? Did we forget about the other blonde celebrity whose life was ruined thanks to ‘the star treatment’?

Gah.. I don’t even know where this comment is going too. I’m not happy with the decision either, but the way people are reacting.. is well.. not good at all (even if it is justified a million times over).

Anyway, 2 eProps for Patrick for his excellent expression of his discomfort regarding the decision.

  • I know. Stupidest thing they’ve done in awhile. Put paris back in jail!. lol

  • They could put her back in the men’s jail. She would be clawing to get in there!

  • i’m glad she got out.

everyone else i’ve ever worked with/known who has been arrested for anything was out of jail in under a week.

i don’t think that just because she’s famous that she should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law… when no one else ever really is.

  • Agreed!

  • You may get your wish, I heard she may have to go back this morning!!
    WOO HOO!

She needs a big roommate too!

  • Yes, put her ass back in jail!

  • Hi,
I was just browsing sites when I came across yours. Anyway, have a great day.

    http://www.goodpersontest.com

  • well.
    she’s rich.
    she’s a bitch.

i simply couldnt believe my eyes when i saw this from tv news(i live in hk and this news was reported in today’s evening news).

“All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.”

  • Celebrity “justice” is a joke. Money can buy you pretty much anything, huh? :) Great post.

  • I don’t understand why they let her out in the first place!

  • Yes, Sign my name too. Im so sick of that girl.

  • totally agree. ‘undisclosed medical condition’?? what utter rubbish. finally, a guy who thinks that she’s not HOT. good post. ; )

  • I say put Paris and the sheriff that let her out in jail cells next to each other.  Celebrities should not get special treatment.

  • Yeah that’s soo true.

My name’s signed to it too

    -Rosie-

  • if she’s too ill, well, she should be heading into a nutzone or hospital with guards. that’s what inmates do when they get sick …

family probably bought out the system …

  • here here. even though i love her music. hah

  • justice for all.

  • I betcha anything she banged the judge or someone like that.

  • Amen to that.  Where’s the petition, I’ll sign it.

  • i couldnt agree more… who cares she PARIS i dont !!!! does anyone else get a say of what they can eat in jail? umm NO….  its so VERY CRAZY it was even a option to let her out…. :(

  • i’ll keep it simple.

    /signed.

  • I am watching the news on TV and the new cast people tells about Paris Hilton and they want to know why the peoples let her get out of Jail free for a reason? they shouldn’t let Paris Hilton be out of jail and they should also let her stay in jail forever and ever although I know Paris Hilton did something really bad and it ain’t cool or a fun thing to do and I can’t believe they let her out of jail like that ! shouldn’t she be staying and be locked up in jail because the people think that Paris Hilton was a murder person or a killer or something like that I don’t know why Paris Hilton is being a bad actor or even going in jail and the police officers should arrest her for being a very bad actor too! maybe Paris Hilton was in jail, because she was either on drunk by drinking alcohol or wine or beer or she could be doing  smoking a cigarette or she could also be on tobacco or marijuana or something like that I don’t know why though and there’s got to be a reason why Paris Hilton was in jail for a reason or why the people let her go free from jail though well someone had to find out though!

  • This is a very sad situation. I really think Paris Hilton herself would be better off if she would just show that she has a sense of fair play and would agree to serve the whole 45-day sentence in jail. You’d find that many people who seriously resent her right now would start to say, “Y’know she’s not such a bad person after all. She’s fair.” Most people respect Martha Stewart who really did serve her time in jail and was not a cry baby about it.

    David

  • Couldn’t agree more.

  • I totally agree with you…she needs to go back to jail and stop acting like because her daddy makes money that she can do whatever the hell she wants…it’s ridiculous.

  • A friend of mine wrote about this in her post. She mention how the other prisoners must have felt… and how they might come after Paris when they get out becuase her rich, snooby, non-working butt was released so soon.

We can only hope  : )

    Great post.

  • It’s extremely unfair. Just because she is rich. DAMMIT.

Oh, well. We all know that karma is a bitch. It’s gonna bite her vapid ass one day.

My friends and I were discussing what diabolical plan she hatched.

  • * mentioned        oops

  • its just really unfair.

cant we do some kind of a thing and collect signatures and give it to someone to make her get the right punishment?

  • Ah….Thank You! Finally someone come out and say it. Thank you for posting this. I know in my heart I’m not a whiny complaining mook who’s jealous of Paris.

  • Although I certainly agree with you that celebrities should have to follow the same rules as everyone else, the fact is that most non-violent criminals in LA do not serve their entire sentence.  Paris Hilton is not an exception in that regard.  As is, she is actually more likely to serve her entire time under house arrest than she would be in jail.

  • Gee guys, c’mon!!

    It was a MEDICAL CONDITION!!!
She refused to eat the food they served her!

She could have, I dunno, LOST WEIGHT or something!!

  • SO glad to see many people feel as I do!! I was annoyed as hell to find out she’d been released. If it were any of *us* who had done what she did, regardless of our health, home status, etc., we’d be in jail. For longer than 23 days . . .

Oh, and to Angela (TimMLover) – my hubby thinks she’s ugly, and a ho!! Some guys do still have taste and common sense!

  • I agree! It infuriates me how they released her. Send her back!

  • She so needs to go back to jail, serve the full 45 days!

  • I am with you.  They said something about letting her go because she was having a nervous breakdown…(I have an unhealthy addiction to watching Fox news in the mornings).  Uh so if you get a little shaky on death row, do they send you home to get over it?  Come on now, that is not the way it works.  Congrats on getting featured

  • lock her up, jesus.

  • The sadest thing is over here in australia there was a huge train crash around the time Paris went to gaol. The TV news shows were giving alomst as much time to all the gaol crap as they were giving to a train crash in which 10 people died.

Now, only 3 days after, we are having huge storms and people are being swept away in floods. A car with a family of 4 in it was swept off a bridge and are now missing as are an elderly couple. Yet the fact that paris hilton has been let out of gaol still to make the news…

  • I think she should be back in jail too it dosent make sence to let her out cuz that is just telling america that celebs can just do wut ever they want cuz there famous

  • I 100% agree. Celebrity’s should be held responsible for their actions! No ”normal” person would be allowed to leave jail because of emotional break-downs.

It is VERY dumb that celebrity’s get special treatment!

  • Tom Leykis was giving out Sheriff Baca’s email address yesterday on his show. All these people were calling saying that in the next election they aren’t going to re-elect him.

I hope the judge throws him in jail!

  • ha ha…why would they treat celebs like everyone else? they pay more and paris probably had no problem getting on her knees -_- sick.

  • I believe the concern is that, if they put in jail with all the other women convicts she’ll become an even BIGGER whore than she already is because…you know….they might gang rape her for cigarettes or something.

They should put her in solitary for the rest of her sentence instead so she won’t be afraid of things like that happening.

  • Even when she was in jail, she got her own seperate jail cell.  I wish she got thrown in with a pscho,..^.^

  • Even when she was in jail, she got her own seperate jail cell.  I wish she got thrown in with a pscho,..^.^

  • sorry about double comments…

  • *wild applause*

    THANK YOU!!!!

  • I agree. 110%

If you commit a crime, you go to jail.
    End of discussion.

It makes me so angry that they let her go!

  • I think I read something about “She was barely eating in jail”.  I don’t know how that’s different than when she’s NOT IN JAIL!!!!!!!!!

Wonder who daddy paid off to get her out of there.

  • amen.

  • Seriously, you annoying fucking people, first time DUI offenders usually are released in 3 or 4 days.

  • Paris Hilton doesn’t need to kept in a jail, she needs to be kept in the zoo.

  • Agreed.
Its ridiculous that she gets special treatment all because her sorry ass couldn’t handle jail.
I think she deserved to be there.

  • paris hilton fucking rocks!

  • oh come on, celebraties aren’t actually real people, why should they have to follow the rules? hahahaha. i think that if they do anything wrong it should be the same punishment no matter who they are. this whole thing is a bunch of bs. any one of us could do the SAME thing and get a punishment way worse then anything they would even consider for  celebrity. but hey, this is America, we worship mediorcrity.

  • i agree that she should be in jail and do the whole thing, but who actually thought that they’d be able to do it…after all her daddy has too much money to let her actually be made an example of. Perhaps they didn’t want what happened to her on the inside of the jail to come back to be reflected on them. i saw an interview pre her going in jail that they wanted to make an example of these people who couldn’t get away with stuff just cause they were rich. um yeah, they showed them.

    thanks for the post

  • Amen!

  • she’s under mansion arrest. there’s no question that she bought her way out of jail.

  • I agree. What illness could have possibly come up that she had to leave jail? Do any of the other inmates have it? Shouldn’t they also be allowed to go on house arrest? They let regular people with cancer die in their cells and don’t give a shit. Why is Hilton any different?

  • Paris Hilton did get away with it. That’s how corrupt the law enforcement is right now concerning how much money you got to get away from jail. The world is like monopoly, if you’re rich enough like those spoiled, soiled celebrities, you can get a “free from jail card”. If you’re like anybody else or worse in the gutter, you have to face even death penalty. All the weight of the law crushing unfairly on your body. That’s not fuckin’ fair.  I would love Paris Hilton hit really rock bottom. Going to jail for a few days isn’t rock bottom.

  • She might be going back to jail today! She shouldn’t have gotten out in the first place. Celebrities can’t keep getting away with shit. bullshit.

  • Look, if it was 23 days into a say, 40 day sentence, then ok, let her finish it at home. But 3 days?? And it’s only a 23 day sentence. Gods… get over it. Make her do her time!!

    Peace and love

    ~*elfqueen*~

  • She should go back to jail.

I bet you it was a nice jail too.

  • I can’t imagine why anyone should care.

  • this is too true..
celebrities need to be treated as normal people are.

it’s ridiculous that paris hilton gets away with it.
    stupid, stupid, stupid.

  • Unfortunately, a very strong precedent has already been set. While most people with a brain stem agree that rich people shouldn’t be above the law, they are, and they have been for a very long time.

Justice is a word that is very rarely used with meaning in this country, I think it would probably be naive to assume this sort of corruption is limited to the United States though.

Asking for Paris to be returned to jail seems entirely reasonable, but with the history of our ‘justice’ system it may be equivocal to asking a mob boss for a refund on a protection payment. As much as we would all like to disagree with this, Nixon got pardoned. If a president that was corrupt to the core can walk, than what is the significance of some drunk ass rich bitch?

So, from this very sad viewpoint, I instead propose that we request a trade:

    Dear ‘Law Enforcement’,
Please trade us, Paris Hilton for an imprisoned celebrity that has artistic talent.

  • she is blonde , throught her in jail !

  • People are going to hate paris more then ever. Money is what “matters” in our society. Unfortunately.

  • Instead of a “Free Paris,” don’t we need a “Jail Paris” protest?

  • I agree 100%. I guess money CAN buy you anything…including your own brand of justice.

  • hear hear!

  • yea too bad…perhaps they give her a sentence to serve time…you think she will spend it in a jail with commoner’s???HELL NO~!!!with her money she will built a private jail for herself to sit in with all accomidations met…if anything keeping her on the streets will put her in more danger of hurting herself…let the bitch live her life the way she wants, and believe in karma…years of party whoring does take a toll on the body and mind…plus let the dumb bitch drive under the influence again…maybe this time she’ll run into a pole…

  • Yes!  Please!  This is ridiculous!  Nobody else would get out after three days!  Please throw her back in and make her serve her time…She will NEVER learn if she’s able to chill out in her 2 million dollar house having parties and getting to live the glamorous life.  She needs to experience the consequences of her actions by golly!!!!

  • they let her out? ughhh

  • she got out of jail?

  • I agree. It’s pretty pathetic.

  • what’s really incredible is that some people are HAPPY to see her leave jail, the stupid fuckers. the same people who said she shouldn’t even do any time and that she didn’t do anything wrong… ummmmmm……….. yeah because drunk driving isn’t a fucking felony right?

and to timmlover (second poster)- transvestites can look really good, please look up thailand beauty pageant on google

  • I am with you.  Like, she really acted like she was so prepared to do her time and that she was being strong.  B.S.  Hollywood is so annoying.

  • Thank you for reflecting the thoughts of probably most people in this country. Bah to celebrities and their money!

  • I agree. If celbs break the laws, they will encourage emulaters to also.

  • It amazes me that there are people out there that are willing to support her through music and video purchases…

I agree that this is a farce of the highest degree…

The sad part of this whole thing is that we get one more opertunity to see it in play that if you have money you can hire a lawyer that will rewrite the rules…

I personally am on a Paris Hilton Boycott… I refuse to touch anything that has her name on it… that is the most effective way to make your point

  • i don’t care what you do to her … just talk about something else on the news …

  • Oh….my….gosh. She got out? And what excuse did they use to justify it? A mental breakdown…that isn’t right.

At first I heard that her sentence would be reduced on good behavior. But this? It crosses the line. If she’s done something wrong, she NEEDS to serve time like everyone else. Mentally ill or not, other people would have to serve their time….except with medical assistance I’m sure. To me, doing that is like just telling a child they’ve done something wrong and giving them candy immediatly after the child is scolded. It probably encourages them to do it again. “No no dear, don’t do that. It’s wrong. Now, take this candy and go sit down like a good little boy.”

So she’s got a 40 day home confinement. Wonder how long that’ll last. I’ve give it less then a week. She’ll have another “mental breakdown”, sympathy will be shown, and she’ll be able to go out and do controversial stuff again. And history will repeat itself.

Pardon this rant…it just makes me so mad that celebrities get this treatment for no good reason. I’m sorry if it doesn’t make sense, I figure no one will read it anyway.

Yeah, start a petition, I’ll sign it.

  • i think maybe the guards and the warden did not want to hear her say “that’s hot” 37 million times during her stay in jail, so they devised a plan to let her say “that’s hot” at home.

  • That’s right.  They should put that bitch back where she belongs, in prison.  What is our “justice” system coming to?  Treat her like all the other criminals, with no special treatment like putting her in that special inmates unit or whatever the hell it was.

  • i agree she should fullfill her sentence the way it was delivered and abide the due process of the law.

However to see someone go to jail for 45 days due to DUI doesn’t seem like an efficient use of taxpayer money.

  • i dont usually post comments and stuff on xanga but im OUTRAGED !!! she should be sent back to prison  and double the punishments too !!

  • Dude,

    I’ll second that.

  • i can’t believe that she cant spend her already reduced sentence in jail. if that happened to anyone else, they would be in jail for the full sentence. i hope that she becomes horribly and irriversibly disfigured to figure out looks arnt everything.

  • I hate her. What a spoiled whiny brat.

  • she is a nasty skank that belongs in jail.

  • I say we fire the person who authorized her “reassignment.”  Reassignment my a**!!!

  • Ugh! I can’t stand the fact they let her go!

  • I agree! They shouldn’t have let her out. *rolls eyes*

    <3Brianna

  • ridiculous how a sheriff can essentiall overturn a judges’ ruling on an ambiguous “medical condition”.  Drag her back into jail!

  • Well she’s back in… Stay up to the minute with TMZ.com!

  • Hey, this prayer stuff might be worth something!

Paris, escorted screaming and crying back to jail to serve the full 45 days is what I’m told, breaking news right now.

Hahahahaha! Yay, today is better now, thank you!

  • Hallelujah!  She’s going back to the pokey!

  • Hear hear!  I’m watching now, apparently the judge has ordered to go back and do the original 45 day sentence.  Justice!

  • Looks like you got your wish. ;)   I have to admit it gives me a deep thrill to see her get more of what she deserves.

  • Hm. Poor chick. Must be hard to be incrediably hott and rich.

  • u suck paris rockes

  • Wow…She got out?  I automatically flip the channel as soon as I see her face, or hear her name…It’s a sort of knee jerk reaction for me.

I only knew she was going to jail in the first place because a friend asked me what I thought.

To be honest I wish people would stop giving her the attention she so obviously craves…

I do hope she goes back to prison.

    ~M.J. Rife

  • Yeah, take Lindsay Lohan…she’s twenty yet it’s publicly known she drinks illegally on a regular basis. What the hell…

  • Apparently she is going to go back, and was/will be dragged there kicking and screaming.

    Oh, joy.

    At least shes going back.

  • paris hilton should have stayed in jail for the full 45 days she was assigned to stay in the first place. of course she gets released after 3 days because little miss high maitnance princess had a nervous breakdown from the oh-so awful conditions in jail. boo hoo. she’s rich and famous because of her dad. if it wasn’t for him, she probably would have done the full 45 days.

  • well looks somebody heard your plea, if not the sherrif the court. she’s back in jail… and I think thats wonderful.

  • i love the fact that paris was “crying and screaming” as she went back to jail to serve out her sentence . i usually don’t wish anything bad on people, but she had that coming to her. let’s be serious, if she wasn’t rich and “pretty” (or whatever), she wouldn’t have been going home so early in the first place. she was in for violating twice the terms of her earlier dui. i’m sure that being killed by a drunk driver feels the same no matter how rich that drunk is when she runs you over.

  • Loved it! What really kills me is there are people who petitioned to keep her OUT of jail-what gives?? I like certain celebrities too but if they break the law they are SOL and deserve to serve the time.

  • hahaha – that spoiled brat was returned to jail, for the FULL SENTENCE. and she was crying all the way!

    go judge sauer!!

  • Don’t you love when justice prevails?

  • I cant believe they let her go

  • I think that see needs to 1) put some clothes on  2) eat something 3) stay the heck in jail

She’s crazy and needs to stay with people that could teach her a lesson…

  • Yes.  Thank you.  Stupid Paris Hilton.

  • AWESOME SHES BACK IT JAIL :)

  • Paris Hilton = Whore.
I hope they get her back in jail.

  • it’s funny, she’s always in the paper, and i’ve yet to meet a single person who actually likes her and admires her.  also, i’m pretty sure the rest of us, wouldn’t be that heartbroken if her name NEVER appeared again in the “news” or tabloids.

  • AWESOME SHES BACK IN JAIL :)

  • she’s back in jail . . .

  • *sigh* I wish I was rich and spoiled, then I can do whatever I wanted to.

  • AMEN!!

  • really? they lets her go? but i saw it in the MTV movie awards, she said that she wanted to do something ”good” before she goes in….

  • she’s going back to jail! amen! justice has been served for once a celebrity isnt getting off easy.

  • Good News!  She’s back in jail!  The judge was super pissed when he found out the Sheriff let her out for house arrest.  Hooray for laws applying to everyone!

  • she’s back in now you know, and for the full 45 days too!!! there is justice in the world! god bless that judge that overruled hte sheriff!

  • I just think she is stupid bitch so most def signing this pup.

  • It’s rather… not only the famous, yet the generally rich who do not follow the same laws… he who can afford the best lawyer.

    anti-paris website

  • guh, tell me about it…  She did five days. FIVE! So she couldn’t take it anymore and called her lawyers and blah, blah, blah…

Yeah, celebs should follow the law as well, but then again… what do us ‘mere mortals’ have opposed to the multi millioneare people like the Hilton’s? Nothing. Nada. Zip.That’s right. We’re squishy little bugs compared to the Hilton’s (in the eyes of society today that is).

I think I love that judge. He had no sympathy whatsoever. Yay for judge.

*sighs* Hopefully she’ll stay behind bars for those 45 days but I highly doubt it. Inmates gets one day off from their sentence for every fourth day of good behaviour. Her lawyers will probably manage to cook something up to make her ‘free’ again.

  • There are people released on house arrest for things such as this all the time… Silly to see this out of Xanga.

In fact, DUI offenders often get this treatment + probation. It’s standard procedure to keep jail cells from being overcrowded.

  • I totally agree with you,  celebrities should follow the same laws as everyone else.   They all think that they can get away with doing whatever they want and the court system now a days is showing that they can.  Why do ordinary people have to follow rules but celebrities don’t?  Thats not justice.

  • Ugh. She better stay in jail. I don’t see how people can idolize her, as she’s the most stupid, ignorant, least-contributing-to-society person I’ve ever seen in my 17 years on this planet.

  • Okay, after reading some of these comments, though they have little substance to them, I’m convinced most of you don’t know the law at all.

Anyone, celebrity or not, can be released from jail to house arrest. Anyone. It happens all the time. In fact, the judge is stepping out of his bounds in putting Ms. Hilton back in jail. For any other person released by the police department, which as I’ve said happens often, the judge would have passed judgement.

In this case, and because Ms. Hilton is such a high-brow celebrity, the judge is trying to be tougher. It’s special treatment, alright – especially harder than most criminals that have committed the same crime. Because bitching that she’s not in jail because of a suspended license, of all things, is pretty childish and naive.

  • That’s right, justice has been done, you can rest your good heads, green-eyed monsters. I noticed one “Christian” thought she should get the death penalty.
She’s a picture on the wall of your glass houses, put down the rocks.
    hmm,
Let he who is without sin,
    cast the first stone
And before you enjoy to begin to win
Remember all roads lead to Rome

  • did you see the pictures of her crying on drudgereport.com?

I’m normally a nice person, I swear, but seeing her crying face brought a sort of smile to my face.

She honestly needs to suck it up and serve her sentence. Apparently she can even get out earlier (4 days good behavior = one less day?) so yea. Time to suffer consequences.

  • I just saw ur post about the spoilt brat paris hilton in xanga’s front page. it seems to me that the sheriff acted in contempt of court, after releasing here on a tag, after the trial judge had specifically ordered that she must serve her sentence IN JAIL and NOT in her lavisah mansion.
We get the same kind of treatment here in the UK for “celebrities” and “people who know people”

  • update* they sent her back!

  • Please loosers…she doesn’t deserve to be in jail for what she did…On the other hand, our president and his entire cabinet should be in jail…Being rich is not a crime…If you don’t have the ability to get yourself a good place in society, then don’t judge, blame the one who could do it…

  • Ask and you shall receive.

  • I think that this judge is the one who by doing what he did will help her. She was living life the way she saw it fit and could have ended in tragedy. This judge gave her a reason to look at her life and decide what is right and what is not.

  • They sent her home so they could paint the bars…

  • and still, the whole world is watching Paris

  • I’m so happy. That snotty heiress deserves everything she gets.

  • ummm. shes back in jail if you didnt know…just thought id tell you..

  • just because they r famous doesnt mean they can break the same laws us regular people have to keep.

  • I hope your hope is that when people have medical conditions (whatever that may be), it will be looked at seriously with the proper action taken.

  • most dui’s only serve 3 days in LA no matter how long the sentence given because of jail over crowding. i think she should be let go. but maybe my spoiled upbringing tainted me.

  • i totally agree with you.  if that was me i would still be in jail.  they would have laughed if i had even suggested going home.  NO SPECIAL TREATMENT FOR CELEBRETIES

  • **CELEBRITIES

  • Regardless of the jail issue, I am stunned at the hatred towards Paris. All that any of us know about her is what’s in the media. The reasons you all hate her is because of what the MEDIA reports on her. And so what if she’s a spoiled rich brat, she’s not the only spoiled brat in the world. She’s still a human being and deserves some respect. And who’s to say that she got let out JUST because of her celebrity status. Sure, that seems likely, but does anyone know for a fact that if she were NOT a celebrity she would NOT have been released?

  • the only reason she was let out is either she paied off the guard or slept w/ the right person….but either way she needs 2 b in jail

  • Being involved in prison work for over 25 years, I can see a different standard—I can say for a fact  that Paris Hilton isn’t getting preferential treatment—she’s probably getting a much harsher judgment than most.  One example:  A man, driving high on OxyContin & alcohol, killed a father and 2 of his 3 year old triplets.  The remaining triplet fought for his life and though he survived, he will have a lifetime of physical challenges (needless to say emotional & mental hurdles as well).  This man was sentenced to 18 months in jail for being high on drugs and killing three people & maiming another.  Light sentences such as this one for such heinous offences is not an isolated case.  And Hilton’s case is just highly publicized to get you worked up while you forget the repeat child molester that’s out of jail on good behavior, living near your neighborhood playground & unregistered (because law enforcement uses the honor system and expects him to do the honorable thing and register as a felonious monster).  Please!!! There are millions of people that should be in jail before Paris Hilton.

  • due to popular demand…

our plea has been answered. ^.^

    i’m uh-cited.

  • kill someone for money, eh?
can’t wait to see who it is.
Ah yes, the Life and Times of a Paris Hilton.

  • haha I completely agree with you

  • Agh. It’s so lame. I can’t beleive they would even CONSIDER not making her stay in Jail. Doushes.

  • i think paris should be trated like a normal person in jail but she needs help for her medicial condition  im concerned for her iim a fan of paris hilton

  • Paris is such a complete fuckup….Here and Lindsay Lohan and Nichole Richie are gonna end up like Anna Nichole if they don’t straighten their asses out..

  • at least this judge has his head on straight………

  • I LOVE YOU juz bcuz u dun like paris hilton like every freakin guy likes that slut.

Paris Hilton DESERVES to go to jail. it’s time those freakin celebrities like britney spears and her dun escape from the loopholes of the law.

BTW her lawyer must suck, cuz she’s like one of the first celebrities nowadays i’ve heard that has actually gone to jail.

AND i’ve heard that paris hilton is wearing smthing slutty into the jail. something that shows her pretty chest.

    Damn her.

  • she needs to be in jail longer then 45 days, that would really teach her something about life and not that daddy’s money can buy her out of anything.

  • eh, she’s rich and pretty with a good lawyer. of course she got off.

  • I’m so happy she’s back in jail. Isn’t fair that because she has money and good looks that she can’t obey the law. You know, part of me thinks that she went back in because of what the public was thinking about her. I don’t know, just a hunch.

  • Lawl, nice… :)

  • what fucking justice. she’s being made into a fucking disgrace from everyone right now. i’d love for you people to become famous one day and deal with people watching your every move and constantly making fun of you. yes she did something wrong, we all do and theres plenty of normal citizens who get out just as well as a celebrity would. its sick how many people are so happy with this.

  • that ho is back in the dog house isnt she???

  • that’s really sad, because even celebrities have to have some protection, because with that kind of social status as well as media following your every footsteps, celebrities also have UNWANTED attention from other people. the reason why many rich and powerful people are seemingly getting “light” sentences or something is because they have many enemies or people who would want to hurt them or something like that. thus with that kind of power means increased need for protection, and jail breeds criminals, it’s not a “correction” rehab

    random props nice xanga btw

  • Guess they answered your prayers. =)

  • although it’s also true that the ppl are being very harsh on her just cause she’s a celebrity, because of jealousy…this is just the perfect way for media to roll in more money while people can sort of get “revenge” on those who are embodiments of “rich and powerful”

  • they put her back!!! *Dance*

  • i wish they would have let me out of jail for “medical reasons” or at least let me chill at home for awhile..

i watched an ex-guard go to jail for a d.u.i. and he got his ass kicked so bad that he was legally dead for 45 seconds.. after he was pronounced dead a guard kicked him.. he shit himself and took a breathe.. and it took them hours to decide he needed to go to the medical ward.. i watched someone drop a knee to his chest and it caved in at least 3 inches.. with every kick you could hear a bone break.. it was one of the worst experiences of my life..

and they’re going to let her go home because she got a rash?

  • I wish they would just keep her there

  • i absolutly love Paris Hilton and don’t see why everyone hates her and nicole richie so much…
people claim that they get everything they want, blah blah blah, this and that, but if you were in their place you’d probably act almost the same way.

  • omg!!!! people are even bloging about paris!!! i cant handle all this paris hilton…i mean the s*** she pulls just c/s shes wat you call “a celebrity” makes me mad!! ok i need 2 vent….. paris is a stupid celebrity slut w/h 2 much money……

  • Paris got screwed…
Even the rich and famous deserve fair treatment.

  • I couldn’t agree more!!

  • I dont know, just leave Paris alone.

  • i adore you.

:] i hope she actually goes into a jail cell

  • But they also put her in jail for more than one month. For something just as what Paris Hilton did it is suppose to be just about 3-4 days. Just because she is a celebrity, she DOES have to obey the law and go to jail but it doesn’t mean she has to go in for so long.

  • wow, who knew such a simple entry would evoke such a massive response?

  • I thought I was the only one who posted something along those lines.

  • she got served!

  • It’s disgusting how she thinks she can do whatever she wants with out consequence.

I’m glad she’s being sent back to jail.

  • Thxx for this post it is super good i agree that she belong to JAIL!

tell u, this might be the best post you have ever post in ur LIFE!

  • I don’t like her. I just don’t…

  • ha! high five.

    shes back where she belongs!

  • Is paris hilton in jail?  What the hell did she do ?

  • While i think she’s a racist twit, the sentence is ridiculous—didn’t Laura Bush RUN OVER SOMEONE and she got no time

  • I can’t really see a “regular” person getting a 45 day jail sentance for violating probation.  I’m sorry, but they are being VERY unfair to Paris and trying to make an example out of her, which is Stupid.

  • The band The Exies has a petition on their myspace page trying to keep her in jail for the full sentance. I’m sure everyone has heard about her petition so she wont have to go to jail. Well she got 20,000 people to sign. The Exies has 80,000 almost 90 now signing a petitoon to keep her there.

I vote she serves a full sentance which in most cases would be a couple months at least.

  • i’m so glad paris is back in jail! she and her family truly believe that their wealth puts them above the law.

  • solitary confinement is a gift. she belongs with everyone there waiting to kick her ass for being such a princess.

  • Amen, bro. I never even thought she was as “hott” as she thought she was..I prefer the Scarlett Johanson’s of the world…but I am so glad that she is back in. Her hysterics yesterday sickened me. Like the news people said…there are so many people in prison that are terminally ill and have to be there. I just hope she doesn’t get to serve her time in some secluded “treatment room”. She needs to be with the “big guys” . thanks for letting me hollar. Michael

  • how are people defending her?

“oh my god paris is being punished ’cause she’s a celebrity and it’t not fair!”

yes, i’m sure that if i were pulled over for driving on a suspended license twice after a DUI charge and going 70 in a 35, i’d be let go with a warning.

more importantly, though…why do i even care about her? oh oh, it’s ’cause she’s got a lot of money…and that, well…that just fascinates me.

  • solitary confinement is a gift. she belongs with everyone there waiting to kick her ass for being such a princess.

  • Screw medical ward. Put her in with all the loonies. I don’t see how popular she is in the first place, besides her porno… She’s messed.

  • they only let her out on house arrest but she’s back in…that’s awesome. Perhaps they read this… you never know.

  • i feel bad for the other people in prison who have to deal with her. no matter the legnth of time.

  • She had a tantrum from the looks of the front page. I wonder why her mummy hasn’t stepped in?

  • I just posted on the same topic – its longer than this but many of you might enjoy reading it. Come one, come all…

  • I agree completely but I have a problem with everyone making a big deal out of it.

  • It’s not right, that famous people get a way with stuff.  I guess being ritch and white you get away with most thing, I’m happy she’s back in jail.

    ^K.C.^

  • how can all of you guys say that?

she got a worse punishment than 90% of everday ppl would have gotten. I mean come on people! Why dont you spend a day in her shoes. I Think you guys are all just jelous because shes rich and pretty and over half of you guys arent either!

  • i’m glad that she got put back in jail. but i think its sad that america would make such a big deal about her going to jail in the first place, if some one breaks the law they should do the time not be takein out because she is rich and famous.

  • It is amazing to me that these people that have all this money, have nothing better to do than break the law and see if they can get away with it.  If it was me or any other pee wee, do you think that we would have had a chance to get out early?   Don’t think so!!!

  • Paris should be fucking put away forever. Everything’s a giant mediocracy, so they let her go. I have no sympathy anymore because of things like this…. I don’t believe in anything.

  • Ok…now we’re getting some justice here. I tell you the system sucks, I know from experience. I was never convicted of anything,..thank God, but I had to take my son’s father to court for child support, the man has a business making $200.000 and higher a year, as he claimed on his MySpace page, and he lied to the judge saying he does not have a business…I provided the judge with pictures and info about his business and house and expensive cars. She took his side and he got off with having to pay a misery in child support. Sometimes I think he paid her off. Good luck to all with the system!!!

  • FINALLY!I was sooooooooooooo happy when I found out that she was in jial!!!!

  • I agree…start a petition!
The law needs to be taken seriously, not as something you can escape if you have enough money, or if you are pretty.

  • It’s unbelievable what celebrities get away with. I am so glad she is back in jail. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed in hopes that justice will prevail.

  • unfortunately is justice really served. If it is was you and I would we get the same kind of sentence as her. Probably in all likelihood harsher, money does buy, but ultimately not happiness. And sometimes justice is really served. However everyone of us without taking Christ into our hearts, are condemned. Those who did not entered into the Ark in Noah’s day, die just the same penalty from the worse to the most righteous.

  • In reference to the previous post, what does religion have to do with PH receiving justice ? I’ll never understand these people. Anyway, Paris got what the court prescribed, and she should serve every minute of it, behind bars, just like anyone else. It’s only 45 days, not 45 YEARS. What the hell is her problem ? Can’t stand the heat, Paris ? I think it’s a perfect time to watch South Park, the episode depicting her !

  • Since hers was a misdemeanor offense, the judge COULD HAVE given her up to a year. She should be totally grateful she didn’t get THAT. “It’s not right” she says. Well, Paris, since you’re apparently so damn smart, what then WOULD be right for you ? How about a nice, comfortable, padded room complete with strait jacket ? Lesser people like me would have been given a year and a hefty fine, lose my home, my job, vehicle, and probably all my money. I only wish I had a fraction of the money she does, because I’d at least appreciate it, and use it to make my life better, instead of worse.

  • I personally can’t believe so many people are concerned about Paris Hilton and her jail sentence when there are REAL criminals raping women and killing people getting off. Who gives a shit about Paris Hilton anyway. The woman that gets raped tonight is who matters.

  • Who in the world is Paris Hilton?

  • ahh, your post makes me smile : )

  • I totally agree that Paris should still be in jail!
She is such an untalented wannabe.

Please visit my blog. It’s very important. Please read my blog and comment. J

  • They should give her the death sentance.

  • the world’s feeling safer already

  • did i just read that someone thinks paris hilton is pretty?

    oh my

  • wow, your all a bunch of assholes.

now i may not know much but i do know that its common courtesy to give people privacy when something goes wrong in there FAMILY. family, think of her family. yeah they are fucking loaded, but dont they deserve a little respect. i mean how would any of you feel if your daughter got locked away and all you had to hear about is how much the world hates her and everything people wished bad that would happen to her. havent they had it rough enough with everything she has done the past few years? i do agree that it isnt right about celeberties getting off easy. but this is going way beyond disagreeing. trust me, i hate her just as much as you guys, but lay off just a little. the world is getting ridiculous.

  • haha thanks for the entry, I think you said what we were all thinking.

  • I was so happy she was sent back.

No one is above the law.

Someone who parties with their parents money sure as hell shouldnt be.

  • I don’t know how on earth something like this got featured. I find it funny how because these people are celebrities and have loads of money, we think it is our right to criticize them and wish them the worst…even if we don’t know them. Give these people a break and find something better to write about. If it was one of your family members I’m sure you’d be saying something different.

  • Justice?   more like soap opera..

  • I can’t believe this is headline news!!

  • THank you so much for this post.

I can’t believe she is appealing her sentence. it’s a waste of her and more importantly OUR tax dollars.

I to believe that the judge has it in for Paris.  Which would not be the case if she had behaved like any “normal” citizen and shown the court some respect.  Does anyone else remember her being late for court because she had to have a manicure?  God I am early even if I don’t get seen by the judge till hours after I was supposed to.

I had a DUS (driving under suspension) once- (NO there was not a DUI with it- I am allergic to alcohol.)  I was sentenced to 30 days in jail- I did three days in jail and the rest on house arrest… but house arrest cost me over 600 dollars in itself.  I doubt paris even had to pay for her release.  I think 45 days is plenty.  Maybe it will teach her to enjoy the “simple life”.  You know like salt, pepper, and flavor to your food?

When they took her back to jail she wore a simple jeans and sweater outfit, no makeup, and her hair was a mess… she finally looked “real”.  Thank god for the simple things in life- like a publicised photo of a spoiled brat- being treated like any one of us.  Thank you papparazi for that wonderful shot!

  • its the same as lindsey lohan out partying in 21+ clubs…no one seems to remember she’s not 21 yet.

  • okay, this is total bullshit… paris is on probation for a DUI. she got in trouble for driving with a suspended license, breaking terms of her probation. the fact that she was even sentenced to 45 days in jail for this to begin with is absolutely ridiculous.

also, when she was released previously, she had officially served 5 days of her term. in los angeles county, female inmates generally serve about 10% of their actual term before being dismissed early. her sentence was reduced to 23 days, meaning she served 20% of her sentence.

the judge is just trying to make an example out of a celebrity that so many people are interested in, and he’s treating her unfairly. people who aren’t millionaires and don’t have their photos in magazines and on tv do the same exact thing she did and don’t get in that much trouble.

  • i think that they should let her out.

honestly, keeping her in only gives her undeserved attention.  you know they’ll totally make a reality show out of this too, more cash for paris.

    she’s not stupid.

  • well you must feel extremely cool to write that letter. it must help you to sleep to know that somone who already gets shit in the media is being horribly ashamed even more. because what? her family worked hard to make sure she grew up the way all of you wished you did. how the hell can you be so happy that somone is so miserable. especially when you never even met them?

  • Eprops well deserved!

I don’t feel even a little bit sorry for the bitch. She deserves gaol. Drink driving is a crime, and to only get forty days… and then have it cut down to something like twenty three days… and then to only serve THREE DAYS!… It’s unfair.

It’s like how they treat the naughtier children in schools with more mercy, and give them more chances than the children who tend to be nice. They’re all still children, but since some of the children are just “normally” misbehaving, authoritive people give them more chances before they finally say, “Right, that’s your last warning. Detention for you.” It’s just not fair. Stupid girl, she is. And a sook. Seriously, she didn’t even have to spend a month in the gaol, and she goes and has a mental breakdown and cries like a spoilt Persian cat. If she spends the rest of her life in gaol it won’t be long enough. I want to see her go.

She needs to get over herself. *throws rocks*

  • Shes such a slut and she gets good treatment

  • Is anyone in the least bit concerned about how much news coverage this got? Does no one feel a bit angry that rather than talking and thinking about serious and important things like global relations and genocide, everyone is talking and thinking about Paris Hilton?  Paris Hilton who has done nothing but further negate our way of living (not that it wouldn’t be going downhill without her, but I’d say she’s been a catalyst).  Paris Hilton who just about all of the people commenting here hate, and whom we have never even met yet know the lifestory of her dog…

While I agree that she should not be let off, and while I agree she’s done plenty more harm to our society than most of us have, I don’t necessarily think she belongs in jail.  Well…maybe she belongs, but it’d be pretty nearly inhumane to put her in there.  Considering how much the average person despises her, just imagine how much the jail population must hate her.  I expect they’ll rip to shreds.

And here I am, wasting my valuable time arguing as to how I think the court system should deal with some fucking celebrity.  Since we do not like her, since we do not like what she stands for, what the fuck does her fate matter to us?  I strongly believe we all have more important things to be worrying about.

  • “the woman who gets raped tonight is who matters.”

    EXACTLY.

  • Good she should rot in there no specials treatments nothing. Let the other prisoners get at her too she needs to be taught a lesson on how not to break the law.

  • “I had a DUS (driving under suspension) once…I was sentenced to 30 days in jail- I did three days in jail and the rest on house arrest…”

Right. Pray tell, does anyone in here know of anyone that was strictly restricted by court orders to not be allowed to be released from her sentence early into monitored custody? NO?! This IS special treatment – the judge is making an example of her. Of the many other people in the Los Angeles county that are released after a probation violation, Ms. Paris was the only to be held without a possibility of monitored custody.

Unfortunately for Ms. Paris, however, the judge has the law on his side – he is allowed to enforce court orders that he himself drafted. And, since it is in plain English that Ms. Paris is not to be released under monitored custody during the entire time of her service, no matter of appeals will change the decision. Her lawyers should have appealed when the court order was addressed, not now. Ms. Paris will stay in jail for the full term now, psyche ward or no. In fact, the L.A. County Chief of Police could be found in contempt of the court for (technically) violating the court order.

  • It is also important to note that the L.A. County Police Dept. released Ms. Hilton. She did not release herself. According to L.A. Chief of Police, Low-Level criminals (the group that Ms. Hilton was under for a probation violation) recieve 10% of their prison time and then are released to monitored custody when there is a bedding shortage. Because of the overcrowded state of L.A. County jails, Ms. Hilton was released under the very same procedure that all inmates of this county’s jail system recieve.

  • “I had a DUS (driving under suspension) once…I was sentenced to 30 days in jail- I did three days in jail and the rest on house arrest… ” – Madebydreams

And, yet, Ms. Hilton is recieving “special treatment” by being let out of jail after serving 10% of her time – the very same as your case.

    Amazing.

You’re comparing two identical cases and, yet, coming to the conclusion that A is treated better than B. Simply amazing.

  • hey, I was trying to search through all 412 comments on this post to see what retarded moron was defending Paris for her reckless lawlessness.

Since it’d take too much time to search through it, can you have a post that can help me understand the other side of the fence?? Of course you don’t have to mention any screen names. I just want to know.

  • Look above you.

I’m not defending Ms. Hilton’s law-breaking offense – I’m stating that the “moral rambifications” and “special treatment” that people are talking about is a crock. And, if you read the quote on my last comment, you can see why.

  • I totally agrree!!!!!!!! Thx for the post!

  • Sephiroth, I wouldn’t exactly call those cases identical. Paris drove under suspension not once but twice, and not only that but she was speeding 35 mph over the limit. For her first DUS she was left completely off the hook with only a warning, but she went back and did it again.

Also, she wasn’t being released to house arrest because she had served 10% of her time. It was because of “medical reasons”: depression and loss of appetite. Release for medical reasons is extremely rare, and if it does happen it is because the person is close to death. Paris had already been given a cell to herself without the traditional roommate. Wouldn’t you say all of that is special treatment?

  • Answer me one question: with all the hoop la you guys and everyone else are making about Paris do you think if it was a poor person (like me hehe) that was released for the same reason Paris was, do you think this person would be back in jail the way Paris?

In this case, quite contrary to the jest of your post she is back in jail “mainly” because of her celebrity. Celebrities can get better or worse sentences than the rest of us, simply because of their fame.

just something for you to think about;)

    cheers

  • hi!!!!!??……

  • Hello,
I was just browsing sites when I came across yours. Anyway, have a great day.

    -Billy

    http://www.goodpersontest.com

  • rok on, man! i agree with you. justice will be served for all.

  • Absolutely agree! I dun have any preoccupations to Paris in the first place. But anyone makes mistake should pay for it at a same price, thats the basic logic of justice in any corner of the world. Everyone should abide by that !

  • You know, she got a lesser sentence anyways. A normal person would be put into jail for violating a suspended license for atleast 6 months. So she should shut up and do the time. Be happy she isn’t dead.

  • Once again the media and the world turns its focus on celebtities. Of all the things we need to work on and change in this world that matter, we instead let a spoiled drunken millionaire chick take up all the airwaves keeping us frome being informed about life and death issues i.e. Darfur. Shame on us.

  • amennnn. obviously people defending paris don’t know a little thing called the justice system.

  • im glad she went baq in.

who does she think she is, god?

i think not. chong once got arrested for selling bongs over the internet, and he had to serve his whole 9 month sentence, and he is just as famous and rich as paris, well maybe not as rich.

but yea, im glad shes baq in, and i hope she has to do more time than originally sentenced.

  • Amen! Thanks for writing this, it made me smile.

  • and for every child-molestor/ rapist/killer that gets off on punishments as well. and not for being famous? expalin that. the judical system sucks big time. and theyre famous for going after famous people what the hell are we talking about? they wanted oj so bad they fucked up the case. michael jackson has been on trial forever. its nice to see how people put her in the same category and that she deserves to be in jail. tell me what you think about that. that paris gets caught driving her car, but o.j. simpson or michael jackson gets away with something truly threatening. what celebrities are we talking about when you say that celebrities need justice? most of the petty crimes they do they dont get away with. winona ryder, marilyn manson, johnny depp, nick nolte… i can go on for hours, they all have been arrested despite fame.

  • money talks

    paris walk

  • WOW! W00t!!! Someone finally speaks some pure sense! Completely Agree.

  • Dude, you act like she killed someone. Geez. I mean, I agree with doing time for committing crimes. But still it’s really not that big of a deal. So she was driving with a suspended license, it happens. Nobody got hurt.

  • Crying over 23 days when Scooter Libby got 30 months for his cause. That shows what kind of spoiled brat she is. And now the public is going to bog her down even more.

  • you are so right. thank you so much for putting into words my thoughts on this case.

  • i concurr, wholeheartedly.

  • i agree, scooter libby got much worse than hilton and you don’t see him yelling for his mom.

  • Maybe you are amazed by some people’s comments because you are not familiar with how the law works.

She’s not being treated fairly, she’s being made an example. No one gives a shit if Joe Schmoe goes to jail for doing the same thing, because no one knows who he is. Paris Hilton is being treated and sentenced unfairly, and being used as a tool to educate American youngsters about the dangers of living a fast life. If she was a normal person, she would have been released exactly when she was originally released, without an ankle monitor, and been sent home to continue her life.

  • Great post! I couldn’t agree more!

  • The people that are defending Paris seriously need to have their head examined! Are you people so caught up in the fact that she is a celebrity that you CAN’T see that she broke the law???? Normal people do not have the luxury of breaking the law and getting off with it!

How would you feel if she had killed a couple of people in her alcoholic, drug induced state of mind???? Still begging for her to be set free??? I’m sure some of you fools would!

Another case of our Justice System letting us down again for a fucking stupid celebrity!

  • I AGREE, THANK YOU FOR THIS POST. And for whoever said “because what? her family worked hard to make sure she grew up the way all of you wished you did.”

Grew up the way all of us wish we grew up? Maybe you, but I, in no way, would be proud of my parents to raise me to be a spoiled brat who only cares about herself. Sorry if you don’t agree with me on that, but I’ve already made up my mind about her. Who would want to raise their kids to be like Paris Hilton, really?

Anyways, I totally agree with this post. Good job:)

  • It’s kind of funny, in a way, here we are hating Paris, but hey, if we weren’t so busy hating Paris, we’d be hating and disgusted with ourselves. Thank god for Paris? Still…NAHHH. We’re better off without her =)

  • to kisesnhuggz. so if your family brought you up in a world where you never had to care about money, you wouldent want to grow up like that? being rich and having anything you ever wanted? if this is true you are an incredible person. there should be more people like you who wouldent want to live the way they want to and have money. lol

  • totally!

thanks god shes back in jail

  • “Are you people so caught up in the fact that she is a celebrity that you CAN’T see that she broke the law????”

No. In fact, Ms. Hilton committed a crime so hanusly ordinary that everyone else in the Los Angeles County jail system would have been treated the same. Read my other comments – If you get a “driving under suspended license” arrest in L.A. County, you get 10% of your time and then are released on monitored custody. It’s no different for anyone else.

“How would you feel if she had killed a couple of people in her alcoholic, drug induced state of mind???? Still begging for her to be set free??? I’m sure some of you fools would!”

But she didn’t, did she? She was caught violating her probation and driving under a suspended license. If she ever does kill people in a car accident, then that will be a different story. But saying “Oh, she could’ve done this!!1″ and then ignoring the actually punishable crimes of this case and this case alone is silly and childish.

  • Yes I agree, nuff said!

  • “Also, she wasn’t being released to house arrest because she had served 10% of her time.”

Her original sentence was 45 days and was reduced.

“It was because of “medical reasons”: depression and loss of appetite.”

Along with a “bedding shortage,” a problem common with jails in the L.A. County area.

“Wouldn’t you say all of that is special treatment?”

Sure, her treatment in jail was special treatment. I have to agree with you there. I even heard that she was allowed to use vending machines (though this is contradictory with the jail’s release statement in saying that she wasn’t eating).

Her release was hardly special treatment, however, and that’s where I’m deriving my case from. Repeat offender or not, Ms. Hilton committed what was classified as a low-level misdemeanor and was released per L.A. County procedures. Special treatment was not the name of the game when she was released.

  • Look, again… You have me confused with someone “defending” Ms. Hilton for committing a crime as obvious as the color of the sky to us. I’m not.

I’m defending her release because, after hearing other repeat offenders (even repeat DUI offenders) in the L.A. County area, I’m convinced that Ms. Hilton was not treated specially in her release.

  • Forget jail, have Governor Schwarzenegger send her to San Quentin for execution.

  • when i say “put Paris” you say “in jail”

    “put Paris” “in jail”

    “put Paris” “in jail”

  • You’re absolutely right – it seems justice is spread out depending on financial or celebrity well-being. Less up top where the money is, more down there where people can’t do a thing about it. Besides, Paris needs to realize that the world doesn’t revolve around her and her sex tape. Get over it honey, ‘cuz you sure don’t have my respect.

  • She need to be put in jail and her parents should make her make money for herself and her parents can’t pay for anything.

  • She need to be put in jail and her parents should make her make money for herself and her parents can’t pay for anything.

  • that would teach her some lessens

  • I agree with what u said.Just because She’s a celibrity, doesn’t mean she should be aloud to get out of jail that easy.

  • Yes, Paris should be in jail. She broke the law, simple as that. However, I think it’s really f—ed up that she’s getting ping ponged around. If they were going to send her to jail they should have sent her there and left her there and if they weren’t they should have put her on house arrest and let that be. It’s not fair to anyone especially her family, with all this mind changing going around.

  • I’m with you all the way! Who is she that she doesn’t have to follow the same rules as everyone else?! Maybe it will do her good and make this airhead behave: evidently her daddy didn’t make her sit in the corner when she acted up as a child.

  • Hey sephiroth1330, I have a site if you feel the need to have a word with me! I’d make sure you had your bitch flakes first!

You are a complete and utter fool with your comments regarding your defense of Paris Hilton!

There is NOTHING wrong with Paris and her health other than probably an illegal substance problem as to why she couldn’t fulfill her 45 days….Makes sense because they can always find an extra bed!!!! Bed shortage my ass!

Also, why should Paris be able to get away with being shit faced drunk and wasted without a valid License??? This was not her 1st offense at doing this either! She has been busted 3 times within a few short months of eachother weaving all over the road drunk!

If you can honestly stick up for her, or for anyone for that matter, you are just plain fucking crazy! And, no she did not kill anyone while driving intoxicated, but I sure the hell wouldn’t bet against her doing the same thing or worse since she hasn’t learned a damned thing from this experience, other than her “MONEY” got her out of jail. It has to be her money because it sure as hell can’t be her sex tape…What a classy broad your sticking up for huh? lol

Oh well, It is what made her the “wannabe” celebrity status she wanted so badly!

    le_la_pink

  • The question that I ask is: If she had killed someone while driving drunk what would the authorities have done? Would she be given five years in prison or a longer sentence like some else who commited the same crime?

  • Paris is my hero! I’m so glad she got out. She doesn’t deserved to be labeled as a criminal. She’s a wholesome, loving person, and I love her! She’s amazing, despite what you all say.

Once again, Paris Hilton is my idol and hero. Thank you to the people in the heavens for hearing her plea.

  • You know what, you’re right. Paris belongs in jail, not just for drunk driving. She’s broken several laws, and just because she’s rich doesn’t mean she should get away with them. Do you remember her burger commercial? Why is the head of Carls Jr. or Hardees or whatever you call it in jail, while Paris got away with it? One word: Money. That’s what it is man! You’re so right.

  • OMG OMG OMG….

    like seriously…

do you all realize what the crap you’re talking about.  i understand this is about our justice system, but seriously.  famous PARIS HILTON’s being let out of jail.  boo woo, my faith in the world is lost. blah blah blah. give her the chair… DO YOU REALIZE BY TAKING THE TIME about how you hate her, she deserves to be in jail, and all that other junk… GET OVER IT, every single one of you are the reason that she actully gets media attention, hence forth every single one of you gave her her viciously hated fame.  it is ridiculous how you can sit here and tear away at a person you don’t even know.  yea, the media makes her out to be annoying… so was tom cruise.  people get out of jail all the time, people speed all the time, and people drive drunk all the time… it happens.

    celebrity or not, STOP OBSESSING

  • “This decision sends the message that no individual — no matter how wealthy or powerful — is above the law. Today, justice was served.”

    Damn Straight!

  • I agree that she should get equal punishment, but I wish you hadn’t deleted the people defending her. I really wanted to hear their side of the argument.

  • i so agree.she needs to be put behind bars.i was shocked when those brainless nincompoops released her!

  • the fact that everyone is so concerned with what happens to the night vision nymph really concerns me. do you honestly care whether or not she goes to jail? if someone can manipulate the system, being it a notoriously flawed one at that, then why does it come as such a shock if they do? I don’t care less whether she goes to jail for three days or three years…….I understand your point, that justice should be served fairly, but it hasn’t always and it never will always be fair. my point- stop concentrating on paris going to jail or alec baldwin threatening his kid or snoop dogg banging fergie backstage at a john mayer concert…………focus on shit that matters.

  • if you did the crime, do the time.  paris should abide the laws like everyone else.  i just hope that this will teach her that even though she’s on a celebrity status, NO ONE is above the law.

    great post up.

    zao_tok

  • Agreed.

She should be treated the same way as anyone who breaks the law is.

And 45 days is nothing. Myabe they should make it a year.

hehe. Ok, so I cant stand her.

  • sorry, i’m too lazy to sign into my account.

anywho, FINALLY. someone who writes stuff that makes sense!

  • My bet is she seduced the sheriff.

  • Amen

  • ya its pretty retarted that just because sum1 is the CHILD of some1 famous that they would have such treatment…it just shows how much our gov’t really does not give equal rights to all and why we need more lawyers like Dalgadillo

  • I hope now that all celebrities will now see that their fame, money, and power won’t do them any good and that this news of Hilton back in jail will keep them on their toes and obey the law like the rest of us!

  • “Hey sephiroth1330, I have a site if you feel the need to have a word with me! I’d make sure you had your bitch flakes first! You are a complete and utter fool with your comments regarding your defense of Paris Hilton!”

Alright! Ad hominem, the personal argument – the best kind. I see you’re up to putting personal attacks before practical arguments, so I’ll skip your first two paragraphs.

“Makes sense because they can always find an extra bed!!!! Bed shortage my ass!”

Dear, this is L.A. County… Not Backwater County. There are tens of thousands of inmates with more serious crimes than driving under a suspended license and, as per requirements, Ms. Hilton was let out.

“Also, why should Paris be able to get away with being shit faced drunk and wasted without a valid License??? This was not her 1st offense at doing this either! She has been busted 3 times within a few short months of eachother weaving all over the road drunk!”

First off, no, she was not pulled over while intoxicated – only on a suspended license. Please read the facts of the case before commenting. Second of all, only her first offense was DUI; the second was for driving under a suspended license (put under probation) and the offense in question was driving with a suspended license while on probation.

Please, do not resort to personal attacks when you argue my points – it looks as classless as the person you suppose I’m defending (and again, I’m not defending her actions…)

  • Ah, ‘scuse me for the charges. I was a wee bit off – she was placed under 3 yrs. probation after her DUI (.08%) in 9/06, but was not charged with a probation violation after her first DUS (driving under a suspended license)

  • now can someone put Lindsay Lohan in jail…hello!! shes doin cocaine!!! that screams out “PUT HER IN JAIL!!”

  • Paris sucks for sure.

  • I hope it will have a right justice.

  • good post…I’m glad she’s back in jail…i mean she’s even given a special room of her own so what was the big deal….wasn’t like she was going to stay with the other inmates…good gravey 45 days its not as long as non celebrities would get it….btw did you happen to see the news i forget was it NBC or not but they showed where she lived and it had its own spa treatment and it looked really nice and she was going to be on House Arrest….in that how would that be punishing her???….

  • lol… I love the way everyone on here is still judging her because she commited a crime. I’m pretty sure nearly everyone on here has commited  crime in their life and would be horrified if they got busted for it.

  • …as they say in church… Let he who is without sin cast the first stone

  • 3 weeks in jail is nothing compared to other sentences.

She did a crime and has to pay the price just like everyone else.

  • you know, a news station in the philippines was like “I didn’t know there’s something like that in america,”  when they reported about her.

  • I feel for your purpose, but writing about her only keeps her wicked fame alive.

  • i think they should do the same way they would do to us

  • that is not right she should still be in there know

  • What is the Justice?! Seriously! Oh they are being too nice to Paris Hilton because she starts whining and balling to the Judge saying that shes sorry and everything!  THATS A LOAD OF CRAP! she’s being stupid! TYPICAL PARIS!  She should (and millions of other celebrities INCLUDING Nicole Richie) follow the rules.   I doubt Paris even knows what to do in a Jail.   She’ll probably whine about that too.   She’ll whine about everything!

  • put Paris back in jail…..now THAT’S hott.

  • <33333 paris, if you were her you would want out too. And her dad worked hard to make that money, poor people could do that too but they dont… bc they like staying poor. Everyone has the opportunity and then if they were in the sam position … they would want out too.

  • Although I come from practically halfway around the world, this makes me think of what’s the world like right now.

We’ve gone so much from the simple days of the horse-drawn carriage and when money was strictly for food only.

I can’t believe that celebs get their way just like that. Can’t we all just abide by the rules?

  • hi, i’m new and need some comments so please C/B!!!

  • hi i am borded r u u r gay .fag bitch asshole

  • Honestly, it’s just tough luck. If you’re gonna do something stupid, you probably should try really hard not to get caught…or not do it at all! we all learned that in kindergarten. Thanks for a great post.

  • This is about justice.

  • I think you should use this as a petition to have Paris spend the rest of the year in jail.

  • In Taiwan, a well known actress recently killed a nurse because she was drunk driving.
Paris is LUCKY she did not kill anyone yet?!
Justice is served and she DOES need to learn her lesson.

  • Hey! I totally Kno how you feel.she gets a special treatment 4 breaking the law . honestly I dont care about her but “you do the crime you pay the time”!

  • celebrities should not be above the law… just because your famous doesn’t mean that your poop doesn’t stink.

  • Amen. Couldn’t agree with you more.

  • For sure! Why is it that she should catch a break just because she’s rich? She could have easily killed someone…

  • It’s obvious the Sheriff wanted to come across as the “good guy” for the Hiltons. What did he expect in return, is what I’d like to know?
It would’ve been much better had they left her in jail to serve the 1st judgement. Maybe she had a mental breakdown…who knows for sure? I certainly would in the those conditions, but that’s what her psychiatrist was there to attend to, right? Could he not have given her a valium like any other responsible physician would have seen was needed? She would’ve calmed down, served the sentence, and there wouldn’t have been a circus erupting from stupid decisions, which made the US legal system look like a farce for the whole WORLD to see!

For myself, it was embarrassing that we THE United States of America appeared as the celeb-obsessed, materialistic, superficial country so much of the world believes we are. I am a PROUD American, but that made me want to move to another country.

  • great post!  she needs to just bite the bullet and do the time for her crime.  her mysterious medical condition is a load of crap too.  there is no such condition existent that would make jail dangerous for her unless she suffered from acute agoraphobia – the irrational anxiety about being in places from which escape might be difficult or embarrassing.  but doesn’t that just describe jail?  if that were a legitimate excuse, every inmate would claim they had agoraphobia.  nope!  i think she just needs to stop being a spoiled rich kid for all of her measly 23 day sentence.

  • Your right on! My exact feelings about this whole Paris Hilton situation. She’s definitely a menace to the road. I wonder if she realizes that drunk driving does kill and impact ”innocent” lives. She should personally have to meet w/families whom have lost loved ones to drunk drivers. To me she took it too far and abused the system (and she’s still trying to work her way around). How can her attorney even try to defend her by saying something like…she’s being jailed or labeled as a criminal “all because of a suspended license”. Omg…no sir there is more to that. She’s a danger to the society at this point in time. I hope she learns her lesson and really prove (to herself) that she is so much better then all of this. I am disappointed about this whole situation because it seems like this is another episode of “The Simple Life”. Ridiculously–circus like–all funs and games, but yet REALITY? Mind you millions are watching and learning at the same time. I hope justice does serve her right…eventually. For reals! =)

  • Here, here! She should have to go and stay in jail. Just because she’s a rich hotel heiress doesn’t mean she should be able to break the law and not suffer the consequences. Besides, did you hear her “statement” before she even went into jail? Something along the lines of, “I know I was wrong and I’m going to serve the time.”? What happened, huh? The only break down she’d suffer is from not having Starbucks coffee and her cell phone on a daily basis. Cry me a river.

  • Just remember: if the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit.

  • We southern folks got a saying down here! Don’t do the crime if you can’t handle the time! In other words if you can’t run with the big dogs, baby, you need to just stay on the porch!

  • good post.  she needs to take responsibility for her actions.  drunk driving is a serious matter, and too often looked upon lightly.

  • i deffinitaly agree with you that Paris SHOULD be in jail…but if Paris was a NOT a celeb you wouldn’t have made this post. So i just think people should lay off her case, because people are only talking about because she is famous…

  • I think in the end that this jail time may ultimately help Paris.

  • I completly agree to this.
But she gets ONE DAY OFF of her sentence
    for every FOUR GOOD DAYS.

    This blows.

i hope she stays in there to set an example.

  • maybe her big feet wouldnt fit in da jail:0 hahahahahahaheeheeheehee

  • At least she’s in jail and not sitting at home laughing at everyone. Although she should be in the regular facilities and not medical ward.

  • btw glamour babe lyts is a total idiot  little girl ur too young to be giving ur opinion

  • That’s why here at http://www.queenofsuburbia.com we are totally “Over the Hilton!”

    Danni

  • good post! i agree with you!

  • All that about her (and some of her “oh so sorry comments”) are driving me crazy….hello, she’s a person, she’s not following the law- put her in jail where she deserves to go. Hurrah for the guy who sent her back.

  • She should just grow up and serve her time in jail gracefully. Wait, no… too bad she’s already left the courthouse kicking, screaming and crying for her mother. That plan is now out of the window. Unless she has an epiphany out of the blue or something. Money won’t get you out of everything, Paris. She’s tried to say that everyone is picking on her, but she is the one who put herself in the place where she could be ridiculed.

I honestly don’t believe this time in jail could change her. Not at all. A week (or maybe three days) after she is released, she will head back to her horrible driving and partying lifestyle. A particularly disturbing comment I read (with an interview with Barbara Walters, via collect call from jail): “I used to act dumb. … That act is no longer cute.” Well, it never was cute to me.

  • A-fucking-men.

  • OMG! You r like os totallly right. that pampered little bitch should follow the same rules as the rest of us.

     YOU GO DUDE!!!!

  • Should she be in jail? yes, but I do not think that people should be being so cold and cruel about it, she is only human and she has feelings just like the rest of us. So people should think about how they would like to be treated before they go rambling off about how horrible she is.

  • Also, have any of you been in jail or even have the slightes idea what happens in jail? it is nothing that should be treated so lightly, I would never wish jail on my worst enemy.

  • DO U GUYS EVER THINK THAT THIS DUI THING IS A BIT TOO OUT OF CONTROL. I’M NOT DEFENDING HER BEHAVIOR BUT, DAMN IT’S A BIT DRAMATIC.SHE’S A CELEBRITY SO WHAT! EITHER SHE’S UNDER PUNISHED OR OVER PUNISHED! HONESTLY I’M ALREADY SICK OF THIS JAIL TALK! PEOPLE DO HARD TIME EVERYDAY. AND PARIS IS JUST LIKE US. EXCEPT RICHER. THAT’S MY 2 CENTS! HOLLA!

  • Why is Paris even a subject of discussion?  There are more dire things in this world than some stupid girl’s inability to follow the law.

  • i personally hate paris for being famous just because she’s rich… she didn’t do anything good~!! talent-less… and talk about bad taste in clothes…

I can’t blame her for being so ignorant by the way she was raised… she thinks every one has a pool in their backyard… come-on…

But if she can’t serve time in prison for her wrong doing, and learn from her mistakes?? That is purposely being ignorant… and relying on a lawyer and money?? *sigh* can any one say…. “brainless”?

  • is her “incarceration” still house arrest at this moment? you know, i’d love it if she got put in jail next to the serial killers and drug addicts, not that the latter are necessarily *bad* people. she needs to understand that life isn’t about her tv show and her stinky dirty mutt.

  • My friend was baffled, even complaining about how much attention this “Paris going to jail” situation was getting. I disagree with him though. This is a HUGE issue. Celebrities get special privileges just for being famous. It makes no damn sense. And out of all celebrities, Paris Hilton has got to be the worst example. I don’t understand why people idolize her. I understand that she’s human and she has feelings, but she is asking for all this criticism. She’s so damn ignorant and needs to open her eyes to everything else in the world.

I am glad to hear that so many people agree. Good job with tackling this issue.

  • Forgot to add something:

This isn’t just news for God’s sake! This is a reflection on our decaying moral principles in American society! I don’t know if “decaying” is even the right word; that would be assuming we had those morals to begin with. Well it’s an indication of a lack of morals nonetheless. It’s teaching people, particularily young people, to honor people like Paris Hilton and ignore healthier qualities of people.

Yeah…now I’m done. Good job again, huzzah! =P

  • Dude…She needs to stay in jail to get a good dose of reality. She thinks that she’s all high and mighty, and that she can get out of  anything cause her dad’s a millionaire. She needs a new judge that’s all like “Go to jail *points*” Don’t cha think?

  • Check out DoCircle.com  =)

  • i think the worst part about the whole thing is that she posted a myspace petition to keep herself out of jail.

    i mean. seriously.

that just shows how childish she is.

  • i agree with you completely.

and happycatinheaven.. nobody is “too young” to give their opinion.

  • I have started a Free Paris hilton Blogring,  but nobody cares

  • Woohoo shes back in! XxXxX

  • i completely agree, if she ‘s not back to the jail, there should be no law to rule America.

  • I strongly dislike her and I think it’s dumb how she thinks she can do what ever the hell she wants. She should have to go through with the full sentance.

  •  Clebrities are just people just like you & me! they should follow the rule’s! the same rule’s!

                                                            ~Ash~

  • Paris isn’t a celebrity, she’s as I read in an artile a “relentless publicity seeker”.
But just like Son of Sam she’s now found “God” and will do something to be of service…ofcourse she HAD to call Barbera Wlaters and giver her an exclusive…
she’s terrified of having her picture taken on the toilet, and hasn’t looked at herself (without makeup) for days…
    I see no change.
    -M

  • I’m at task to come up with a way of saying that I totally agree without duplicating someone else, . . . Kudos! . . . Ditto! . . . Yeah Brother!
    Something like that.

  • O they just put her into jail again. It’s a right thing to do. But take a look at Paris… maybe this time she does learn something finally, who knows? And I looked at her picture on the papers… I pity her for all the pressure on her.

  • Amen to that! I just saw a picture in Newsweek where she was bawling in a police car because she had to go to court. She also said “Mommy, it’s just not fair!” when she got sentenced to house arrest! Personally, she shouldn’t be making such a fuss about the situation because she is a human being living under the jurisdition of the law enforcement. Just because she’s an heiress doesn’t mean she gets special treatment. Ever read the Constitution, Paris? It says ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL!!!!

  • Hey love your little ‘Dear L.A. Sherrifs Dept’ letter it should happen but don’t forget she is a rich skank!! Haha!

  • I found it rather humorous that she stood before the world and said “I deserve to serve this sentence because I was in the wrong” and 3 days after she enters prison, a bogus medical condition is mentioned and she walks out of prison into a 27,000 square foot home, with an ankle bracelet on! Oh my goodness! Can you just imagine the horrors this poor girl went through??? To be sent into such horrible surroundings where she has all of her personal belongings, her maids and butlers, her personal hair & fashion stylists; cooks; the whole works, and is sent to live in this travesty with an ankle bracelet on! How horrible!

Good grief, this girl needs to GROW UP and OWN UP to the crime she committed not only once, but twice! She’s lucky she didn’t kill anyone on the road while she was out stupidly driving drunk on the road, both times!

I personally think she needs to be given a much harsher sentence. But who am I to say??? At least she’s back in prison again, or is she???????? Makes one wonder!

  • hey i just made a blogring for us lifers! would you like to join?

    For Life~ X-A-N-G-A lifers unite! http://groups.xanga.com/groups/group.aspx?id=2472924

A blogring for those of us who have made the commitment to join xanga’s “LIFE” program. To promise ourselves and each other to write to our hearts content, and to be proud of the fact that we are in fact addicted to xanga, and love meeting new people, friends, family, and fellow lifers!

  • I remember you now . . .whenever I see a xanga named with just a first name. I am always curious to see a site that must be almost as old as xanga itself, to have been able to have such a clear and simple name.  Ether that or one of the founders

  • It’s a story of mine. I wear the links of london in my whole life. No one knows why I love so much the ring. I also don’t know why. We even don’t know what his name is and how old he is and where he come and went. It really likes a ridiculous story. But I have a proof that is the links of london jewellery ring. It’s neither a dream nor a girl’s imagination.
I don’t know if you can see this article, if you can remember the period happiness, I hope you can have a happy life.
